Book Aesthetic Blog Tag – Harvest Moon or Dearest Louisa?

Good morning, folks! I was tagged by Saraina Whitney for this blog tag, created by Allyson Jamison! Because I am a waffle, I’m using BOTH my upcoming serial story, Dearest Louisa: A Civil War Story and Harvest Moon, the first of the Jonathan & Nicki duology in my Woodsmanverse series.

THE RULES

  1. Mention the creator, Allyson (and link back to the original post).
  2. Include the tag challenge graphic somewhere in your post.
  3. Shout out and link to whoever tagged you!
  4. Answer each aesthetic prompt. Please include pictures if you’re able, if not simply explain the aesthetic to the best of your ability. You may be as in-depth or as short as you’d like.
  5. Tag as many people as you wish!

*Note: All images in the collages, unless otherwise stated, are from Pinterest

HARVEST MOON

Overall Aesthetic of Your Book

This is the ONLY aesthetic that uses pictures I myself took. It’s one I made last year; dunno whether that quote will remain for this current draft. I also made an alternative that includes the Bible verse that…pretty much sums up Jonathan. And his character arc. Because…yeah. He’s gonna go through some pain (AS IF HE HASN’T ALREADY). The poor boy – er, man.

Will this ever be updated? Perhaps. Is today that day? Absolutely not.

Location Aesthetic

For the record, Marigold Hills is not real. I created it for the story. But it is placed in a very real place: up near the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest.

Main Character Aesthetic

Since there’s two main characters, there are two aesthetics:

Side Character Aesthetic

I had to go with Jonathan’s sister for this one, even though there are many side characters.

Alright, so I did want to do both in one post but as it is now a little past 9:30 on Tuesday night, I think I’m gonna…wait till next week to do the Dearest Louisa one.

Edit: NOT ME REALIZING I FORGOT TO TAG PEOPLE

Michaela, Kellyn, Grace, Abigail, and anyone else who wants to do it!

Edit #2: I FORGOT THE CLEAN COPY OF THE PROMPTS TOO
