Introducing…

I originally wanted to post another Matthews fic today but alas, that did not happen. My brain is simply…well, full of many ideas, and I’m terrible at managing them. Much less setting aside time for them.

I did finally get around to making a writing schedule though! Officially starting it tomorrow, which is when writing camp starts.

Now, on to the announcement as indicated in the title of this here post!

If you’ve been around long enough, you might recall me trying to start a couple of serial stories on the blog…stories that never went anywhere other than the archives of my mind.

Heh heh.

HOWEVER. This time around, I might actually get one done!

ICYMI, this last week I ended up with two new story ideas, one of them being post-WWII and the other being another Civil War one. That Civil War one is the one I have an announcement about!

(psst what if I told you I also wanna write a story centered around a survivor of the Sultana disaster? Yeah, that idea has been around for a while but I haven’t done anything with it)

Now, despite what I said about these characters not infiltrating my main CW series, A Time For Everything…I ended up remembering that one of the Confederate characters in ATFE is also at the Battle of Chickamauga…which is where the mal MC of this new story is captured…so…yeah. (And the latter character has also tried to infiltrate it a second time by crossing his path with the Matthews brothers but I’ve shoved that away. Running into Charlie is good enough)

Originally, this story was going to be titled Philip & Louisa but it has now changed to Dearest Louisa.

So…ta-da! There you have it! Admittedly, I don’t know when the first episode will go up – hopefully soon. I *could* do it on the 12th…

It also technically starts in 1859 though that could change in the editing stage…
