Hey, everyone! Today’s another character interview! This time, Will & Susie are being interviewed by Saraina Whitney!

Hi, Susie and Will! Thank you both for agreeing to be interviewed! My first question is to Susie; how would you describe your husband Will in 5 words?

Kind, sweet, loving, protective, and a little stubborn.

What’s your favorite memory of you and him together?

Oh, this is a hard one – you really had to ask, didn’t you? As much as I cherish all those memories of dancing with him at the diner, I love it even more doing it with him in the living room when we’re supposed to be the only ones awake, if you know what I’m saying. Sometimes he sings too. smiles

What Scripture verse has always gotten you through hard times?

Revelation 21:4

How do you help support Will through his PTSD?

Mostly by praying for him and with him. Listening to him helps too. 

What is your favorite song and why?

Another hard question, huh? I have so many favorites, but I guess the one I find myself singing the most is ‘My Father’s World.’ I suppose there’s not really a ‘why’ – does there need to be a ‘why’?

Will, how would you describe Susie in 5 words?

*shifts in seat* Loving, persistent, gentle…um…caring, compassionate. 

Any encouragement you would give to other people with PTSD?

I’m not really sure. I-I guess don’t close yourself up when your loved ones ask how you’re doing. 

What is something that always brings a smile to your face?

My family.

What place brings you the most peace when you have a PTSD attack?

The woods. Hearing nothing but the wind in the trees and the birds singing is very calming. 

What’s your favorite memory of you and Susie together?

Dancing with her at the diner.
