Guess what I forgot to do last Saturday…again.
So much for trying to stick to a schedule, right?
Granted, I am still in somewhat of a writing slump. 2020 has just been that wild. My reading slump after blazing through the Afterverse still hasn’t quite faded.
(I keep wanting to read a book I got last year on Black Friday, but I still haven’t done so. I kind of glazed over the first page of the first chapter and then…pfft.)
Anyway…
Currently, I’m at 5,087 words out of 12k. Like I told my childhood best friend, if I write a thousand or so words every day this week, I can be done!
At the same time, it’s a just-for-fun-at-the-moment project. No plans for publishing it anytime soon.
So, there’s my progress. How’s your Camp NaNo going?
Yes. I am writing Reflection. It has been going well. I’m currently at 87k but I wanted to reach 93k by the end of the month but that’s not happening with classes, homework, etc…
I write a variety of short stories from historical fantasy, christian fantasy, sci-fi.

My CampNaNoWriMo project is going well however by the end of the month, I’m going to put the project on hold for a bit before I burn myself out with the project. Instead, I might focus more on writing short stories instead.😁

Cool! How far along are you? It’s Reflection you’re working on, correct? I understand completely about putting it on hold before burning out. Sometimes a break is all we need to get the creative juices flowing again.
What kind of short stories would you be working on? Those are always so fun!

Oh, no!!! Good luck with the reading slump and writing slump!! You can do it! *throws encouragement at you*
If you want, I could try to give you book recommends or tentative writing advice? I’m not entriely sure, acutally…but either way, I hope the mood passes (I hate it when that happens…)
